Getting There

  • Walking from Nairobi Railway Station

    Exit the Nairobi Railway Station and head northwest on Station Road. Continue straight until you reach Uhuru Highway. Cross the highway and continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Avenue. Turn left onto Kenyatta Avenue and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the Dedan Kimathi Statue located in the central park area near the corner of Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Highway.

  • Walking from Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC)

    Leave the KICC building and head east towards Uhuru Highway. Cross the highway at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight ahead. Walk along Uhuru Highway for about 400 meters, and then turn right onto Kenyatta Avenue. After walking for another 300 meters, you will find the Dedan Kimathi Statue on your left in the central park area.

  • Walking from Nairobi National Museum

    Exit the Nairobi National Museum and head southeast on Museum Hill Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Avenue. Turn right onto Kenyatta Avenue and walk for about 1 kilometer. The Dedan Kimathi Statue will be located on the right side of the road in the central park area, near the intersection with Uhuru Highway.
