If you are staying in the central area of Nairobi, you can start your journey by walking to Kenyatta Avenue. From there, proceed to the nearest bus stop and look for a matatu (local minibus) heading towards Westlands or Dandora. Board the matatu and inform the driver that you are going to the Giraffe Centre. The driver will drop you off at the nearest junction to Duma Road. From there, walk down Duma Road for about 10-15 minutes. The Giraffe Centre will be on your left side. Look for the entrance with a large sign that says 'Giraffe Centre'.

From the Nairobi Central Business District, head to the Kencom bus stage. Here, board a matatu heading to Lang'ata or Karen. Tell the conductor you need to get off at Giraffe Centre. The trip will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will see the Giraffe Centre sign. Walk towards the entrance, which is a short distance from the drop-off point.

For a more direct route, you can take a boda boda. Find a boda boda station near you, usually located in busy areas. Negotiate a fare with the rider to take you to Giraffe Centre on Duma Road.
