Getting There

• Bicycle

  If you are in Naivasha town, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading east on Moi South Lake Road. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Naivasha Railway Station. At the junction, turn right and continue for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Lake Naivasha Resort on your left. Follow the signs; the resort is located at the coordinates 6CHC+6JG, Karagita.

• Walking

  For those who prefer walking, start from the center of Naivasha town and head east towards Moi South Lake Road. Walk along this road, which is approximately 7 kilometers long. Keep an eye out for local landmarks such as the Naivasha Railway Station. Once you reach the junction, turn right and walk about 2 kilometers. You will see signposts directing you to Lake Naivasha Resort on your left. The resort is located at 6CHC+6JG, Karagita.

• Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

  You can easily find a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) in Naivasha town. Simply tell the rider you want to go to Lake Naivasha Resort. They will take you via Moi South Lake Road, which is the most direct route. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Instruct the rider to drop you off at the entrance of the resort located at 6CHC+6JG, Karagita.

• Matatu (Shared Minibus)

  From Naivasha town, locate the matatu stage and look for a matatu heading towards Karagita. Board the matatu and pay the fare, which is usually quite affordable. Inform the conductor that you’re heading to Lake Naivasha Resort. The matatu will drop you off at a point close to the resort within approximately 20-30 minutes. From the drop-off point, it’s a short walk to the resort located at 6CHC+6JG, Karagita.
