Walking
From the center of Naivasha, head towards the main road that leads to Mai Mahiu. Walk along Moi South Lake Road until you reach the junction with the Nairobi-Nakuru highway (A104). This is approximately 3 km from the Naivasha town center. Once you reach the highway, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Mai Mahiu. Make sure to board a matatu that is heading directly to Mai Mahiu, and inform the driver you want to get off at the Mai Mahiu Longonot View Point.

Matatu
Once you are at the junction of Moi South Lake Road and the A104 highway, look for matatus that are bound for Mai Mahiu. The fare is usually affordable, and the ride will take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Mai Mahiu, ask the matatu driver or locals for directions to the Longonot View Point. It is a short walk from the main road to the viewpoint.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Naivasha. Start by cycling along Moi South Lake Road towards the A104 highway. Upon reaching the highway, continue cycling towards Mai Mahiu. The distance is roughly 10 km and is fairly scenic, passing through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Mai Mahiu, you can find your way to the Longonot View Point by asking locals for directions.
