Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Mount Longonot National Park, which is located off the Nakuru - Nairobi Rd (A104). Drive south on the A104 for about 5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs indicating the Rift Valley View Point. You will need to turn off the main road onto a dirt road leading up to the viewpoint. The drive is relatively straightforward, but be cautious as the dirt road can be uneven. There is no entrance fee for the Rift Valley View Point, but you may need to pay for parking at the park entrance.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Naivasha town to the Nakuru - Nairobi Road junction. These matatus are frequent and cost around 50-100 KES ($0.50-$1). Once you reach the junction, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) along the Nakuru - Nairobi Rd towards the Rift Valley View Point or hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for about 200-300 KES ($2-$3) to take you directly to the viewpoint. Be sure to negotiate the fare before the ride.

Walking
For those who are adventurous and enjoy hiking, you can also walk from the main entrance of Mount Longonot National Park to Rift Valley View Point. The walk is approximately 6 kilometers and will take you through beautiful landscapes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the terrain can be uneven and hot during the day.
