Walking
From the Nakuru town center, head west on Kenyatta Avenue towards the Nakuru Railway Station. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the roundabout at the intersection with the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Cross the highway carefully and continue walking west along the road. You will see signs for Wendo after about 1 kilometer. Follow these signs, as they will guide you towards the Cedar Waterfall area. As you approach Wendo, you may need to ask locals for the exact path to the waterfall, as it can be a bit hidden.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Nakuru town center and ride towards the Nakuru Railway Station. Continue on Kenyatta Avenue and head towards the roundabout at the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. After crossing the highway, follow the road signs towards Wendo. The ride will be approximately 5 kilometers. Be cautious of your surroundings, as the road can be busy with vehicles.
Public Transport (Matatu)
From Nakuru town center, head to the matatu stage near the railway station. Look for matatus that have 'Wendo' or 'Cedar Waterfall' written on them. The fare is usually around 50-100 Kenyan Shillings. Once you board, the journey will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Wendo stop, and from there, ask locals for directions to Cedar Waterfall, which is typically a short walk away.
