Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Nakuru Town, start by heading towards Kenyatta Avenue. Walk down Kenyatta Avenue until you reach the junction with Uhuru Park Road. Turn left onto Uhuru Park Road and continue walking straight. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs that will direct you towards Central Park. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Central Park on your right. The park is well-signposted, and its lush greenery will be hard to miss.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Nakuru Town. Start at the rental shop and head towards Kenyatta Avenue. Cycle down Kenyatta Avenue and take a left onto Uhuru Park Road. Continue cycling straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see Central Park on your right. The paved pathways in the park are perfect for cycling, and you can easily park your bike at the entrance.

• Public Transport (Matatu)

  To reach Central Park via public transport, locate a matatu (shared taxi) that goes towards Biashara or Nakuru East. Board the matatu and inform the conductor that you are heading to Central Park. The journey should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach your destination, disembark at the nearest stop and walk towards the park entrance, which will be a short 5-minute walk away.
