From Nakuru Town, head to the main bus station located near the Kenyatta Avenue and Uhuru Park. Look for a matatu heading towards Elementaita or Gilgil. The fare is usually around 100-150 KES. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach the Elementaita area, tell the conductor to drop you off at the Lake Elementaita junction.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Once you arrive at the Lake Elementaita junction from the matatu, you can hire a boda boda to take you directly to Lake Elementaita. Negotiate the fare before you start; it should be around 100-200 KES for the short ride, which takes about 10-15 minutes. Ensure the driver knows the exact location you want to go to near the lake.

If you prefer walking from the Elementaita junction, you can take a scenic walk to the lake. From the junction, head south along the main road.
