Walking
From the city center of Nakuru, head towards Kenyatta Avenue and walk towards the Nakuru County offices. Once you reach the offices, continue straight until you reach the junction with Moi Road. Turn left onto Moi Road and continue walking. This road will lead you towards the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park. The park entrance is approximately a 30-minute walk from the city center.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Nakuru. Start from the city center and head towards Kenyatta Avenue. Continue on Kenyatta Avenue until you reach the junction with Moi Road. Turn left onto Moi Road and cycle straight. It’s about a 15-minute ride to the entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park. Make sure to watch out for traffic and follow the road signs.

Public Transport (Matatu)
From the Nakuru bus station, take a matatu heading towards Nakuru National Park. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the park entrance. The ride will take about 20 minutes. After getting off, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance gate of the park.

Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
Find a boda boda stand near your location in Nakuru. Negotiate a fare with the rider to take you to Lake Nakuru National Park. The ride will take around 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the rider to drop you off at the park entrance.
