Public Bus
From the city center of Nakuru, head to the Nakuru Bus Station which is located on Kenyatta Avenue. Look for buses heading to either 'Lake Nakuru' or 'Mau Narok'. The fare is usually around 50-100 KES. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you are going to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The bus will drop you off at the main entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
You can hire a boda boda from any location in Nakuru. Simply tell the rider that you want to go to Lake Nakuru National Park. The fare should be negotiated beforehand but expect to pay around 200-400 KES. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure the boda boda rider knows the specific entrance to the park.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and are staying close to the park, you can walk to Lake Nakuru National Park. Starting from the Nakuru Town Hall, head east on Kenyatta Avenue, then take a left onto the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway (A104). Continue walking until you reach the entrance of the park. This is approximately a 6 km walk and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have enough water and wear comfortable shoes.
