Walking
From Nakuru Town Center, head northwest on Kenyatta Avenue towards the Nakuru County Government offices. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Moi Road. Turn left onto Moi Road and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Nakuru - Eldoret Road (A104). Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and follow the A104 heading towards Eldoret. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for signs directing you to the Out of Africa Picnic Site. There may be local vendors along the way where you can ask for directions, as they are familiar with the area.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nakuru Town. Start your journey by cycling northwest on Kenyatta Avenue until you reach Moi Road. Turn left on Moi Road and cycle for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Nakuru - Eldoret Road (A104). Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and continue cycling straight on the A104 towards Eldoret. Keep an eye out for signs leading to the Out of Africa Picnic Site. It is roughly 1.5 kilometers from the junction.

Head to the Matatu stage in Nakuru Town, usually located near the bus station. Look for a matatu heading towards Eldoret or Nakuru West. Board the matatu and inform the conductor that you are heading to the Out of Africa Picnic Site. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the designated drop-off point, follow the signs or ask locals for the remaining distance to the picnic site, which is approximately 500 meters away.
