If you are in the central area of Nakuru, start at the Nakuru Central Market. Exit the market and head towards Kenyatta Avenue. Walk straight along Kenyatta Avenue for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass several shops and local businesses along the way. Keep an eye out for the park entrance on your left; it is marked with a sign. The park is situated on Kenyatta Avenue, making it easily accessible on foot.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Nakuru. Begin your ride from the city center and head towards Kenyatta Avenue. Follow the same route as pedestrians, cycling straight along Kenyatta Avenue. The park entrance will be on your left after approximately 15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Ensure to watch out for pedestrians and local traffic.
Public Transport (Matatu)
To reach Nyayo Gardens Park using public transport, locate a matatu (shared minibus) that is heading towards Kenyatta Avenue. You can catch these at various points in Nakuru, including near the Central Market. Once on board, request the conductor to drop you off at Kenyatta Avenue. After disembarking, walk towards the park entrance, which will be on your left. This journey should take about 10-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
