    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Nakuru town (e.g., Kenyatta Avenue), head north towards Moi Avenue. Walk along Moi Avenue until you reach the junction with the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway (A104). Cross the highway and continue walking north on the side of the road. Follow the signs towards Menengai Crater and keep walking for approximately 4 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and residences along the way. As you approach the crater, you will see signs indicating directions to Menengai Crater.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nakuru town. Start from Kenyatta Avenue and head north towards Moi Avenue. Continue to the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway (A104) and turn left heading towards Menengai Crater. The ride is approximately 4 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic and make sure to follow the road signs leading to Menengai Crater. The route has some inclines as you approach the crater, but it is manageable for most cyclists.

    Matatu (shared taxi)

    From Nakuru town, head to the matatu stage located near the bus station. Look for a matatu headed to 'Menengai' or 'Menengai Crater.' The fare is generally affordable. Once you are dropped off at the Menengai area, follow the signs towards the crater on foot. The walk from the drop-off point to the entrance of Menengai Crater is about 1 kilometer.
