From the center of Nakuru town, start walking towards Moi Avenue. As you walk, look for the Nakuru Railway Station on your left. Continue straight on Moi Avenue until you reach the junction with Kenyatta Avenue. Turn left onto Kenyatta Avenue. After about 500 meters, you'll reach the Nakuru Town East Police Station on your right. Continue walking for another 200 meters until you reach a bus stop. From here, you can catch a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Menengai Crater. Ensure you confirm with the conductor that they will drop you off at Menengai Crater entrance.

Once you board the matatu, it should take you directly towards the Menengai Crater area. The journey may take approximately 30 minutes. As you approach the crater, look for the signposts indicating the Menengai Crater entrance. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the entrance of Menengai Crater. From the drop-off point, you will need to walk for about 1 kilometer up a well-marked path to reach the Menengai Crater View Point.

After being dropped off at the Menengai Crater entrance, proceed on foot along the marked trail. The path is relatively steep but well-maintained.
