From Isiolo, take the A2 highway heading north until you reach the junction for the C79 road. Turn onto the C79 road and continue until you see signs for Sukuta Mugie. Follow the signs for approximately 20 kilometers, and you will arrive at Mugie Headquarters located at PH5V+R3J, Sukuta Mugie. Ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel as services can be limited in this remote area.
Public Transportation
To reach Mugie Headquarters via public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared taxi) from Isiolo to the nearest town that serves the Sukuta Mugie area. Depending on your starting location, you may have to catch a matatu to Isiolo first, which will cost around 100-200 KES. Once you arrive in Isiolo, find a matatu heading to Sukuta Mugie. The fare should be around 300-500 KES. After arriving in Sukuta Mugie, you might need to hire a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) or walk the remaining distance to PH5V+R3J, which is about 5 kilometers away.
