If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Nyandarua County headquarters in Ol Kalou. Head southwest on the A2 road towards Nyahururu. After approximately 25 kilometers, turn left onto the Miharati road. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the village of Miharati. Once in Miharati, follow local signage towards Mt Kipipiri, which is located at coordinates HG8M+MG4. You may need to ask locals for specific directions as the road can be less marked as you get closer.

Public Transportation
To reach Mt Kipipiri by public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Ol Kalou to Nyahururu. Once you arrive at Nyahururu, look for matatus heading to Miharati. This leg of the trip should take about 30 minutes. Upon reaching Miharati, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to get closer to Mt Kipipiri. Ensure you negotiate the fare beforehand, which should cost around 200-300 Kenyan Shillings. Keep in mind that public transportation may have limited schedules, so plan accordingly.

If you enjoy hiking and are already in Miharati, you can start your trek to Mt Kipipiri from the village. The hike is approximately 5 kilometers and can take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the trails that lead towards the mountain, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
