    To reach Tafaria Castle & Country Lodge by car, start from Nyeri town. Head northwest on Nyeri-Nyahururu Road (B5). Continue driving for approximately 65 kilometers. You will pass through scenic views of the Nyandarua Range. Look for signs leading to Tafaria Castle, which will be on your right as you approach the lodge. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited petrol stations along the route.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyeri town to Nyahururu. These matatus usually depart from the Nyeri bus station and take around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Nyahururu. Upon arriving in Nyahururu, you can hire a taxi to take you to Tafaria Castle & Country Lodge, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. Taxi fares may vary, so be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

  • Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)

    For a more adventurous option, consider using a boda boda (motorbike taxi) from Nyahururu to Tafaria Castle.
