Car
If you are driving from Nairobi, take the A2 road towards Nyeri. Continue for about 115 kilometers until you reach Nyeri town. From Nyeri, take the A2 highway and drive west for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Zaina Forest. After about 3 kilometers on the unnamed road (HR8Q+MRC), you will find a sign for Zaina Falls. Park your car at the designated parking area and follow the footpath to the falls.

Public Transport
To reach Zaina Falls using public transport, first take a matatu (shared minibus) from Nairobi to Nyeri town. Matatus leave frequently and the journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. Once in Nyeri, you can hire a taxi or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Zaina Falls. The distance is about 10 kilometers from Nyeri to the entrance of Zaina Forest. The taxi or boda-boda fare is approximately 500-1000 Kenyan Shillings. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to the falls.
