After about 30 kilometers, take the exit toward the B4 road. Continue on the B4 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Embobut Forest. The forest is located about 15 kilometers from the B4 on a dirt road, so be prepared for a rough ride. Make sure to have a reliable vehicle with good ground clearance.

  • Public Transportation

    For those relying on public transportation, you can catch a matatu (shared taxi) from Kapenguria to Kitale, which runs frequently and costs around 200 KES. Once in Kitale, take a matatu towards Kapsokwony and get off at the junction for the B4 road. From there, you may need to hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to take you the remaining 15 kilometers to Embobut Forest. Expect to pay around 500-1000 KES for the boda boda ride, depending on negotiation.
