The campsite is located at GPS coordinates 0.7510825 latitude and 37.965241 longitude. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as some roads may be unpaved.

For those using public transportation, first head to the nearest town, which is Isiolo. From Isiolo, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) that heads towards Shaba National Reserve. Inform the driver that your destination is Boji Dera Campsite. The matatu will drop you off at the reserve entrance, where you can pay the entrance fee. From the entrance, you may need to hire a local guide or arrange for a vehicle to take you the remaining distance to the campsite, which is about 20 kilometers into the reserve.
