If you are driving, start from the main entrance of the Shaba National Reserve. Follow the main road leading into the reserve, which is well-marked. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the right fork, which leads towards Archers Post. After another 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Lions Cave Camp on your left. The camp is located at coordinates (0.6409461, 37.6803057). Please note that the road can be rough in some sections, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared minibus) from Isiolo to Archers Post. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Archers Post, you can hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you to Lions Cave Camp. The ride is approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand; it should typically cost around 300-500 Kenyan Shillings.
