Getting There

Car
From Suguta Valley, head southeast and follow the main road towards Maralal. After approximately 30 km, you will reach a junction. Take the left turn that leads to the Cathedral Rock area. Continue driving for another 15 km until you reach a designated parking area near the base of Cathedral Rock. Make sure to have a 4x4 vehicle as the terrain can be rough. The parking area is close to the foot of the rock, where you can begin the hike to the summit.

Public Transportation
To reach Cathedral Rock using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Suguta Valley to Maralal. This journey will take about 1-2 hours depending on road conditions. Once in Maralal, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Cathedral Rock.
