Getting There

• Car

  From the main entrance of Chyulu Hills National Park, head southwest on the main road. Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Entarara location. As you approach the coordinates (Latitude: -3.009252, Longitude: 37.649501), you will see a dirt road on your left. Turn onto this road and drive for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Entarara location, marked by a clear sign.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Entarara location via public transportation, first, take a matatu (shared taxi) from the nearest town or city to Chyulu Hills National Park. Most matatus will take you to the park entrance. From the entrance, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Entarara location. Ensure to confirm the fare beforehand, which can range from 1,500 to 2,500 Kenyan Shillings depending on negotiation.

• Walking

  If you are already within walking distance of Entarara location in Chyulu Hills National Park, head towards the coordinates (Latitude: -3.009252, Longitude: 37.649501). Follow the clearly marked trails and paths leading southwest from the main camping area. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours, so ensure you have enough water and sun protection.
