Private Car
From the main entrance of Tsavo West National Park, take the C103 road towards Mzima Springs. Follow the signs for Mzima Springs for approximately 30 kilometers. The road is well-maintained, but be cautious of wildlife crossing. You will arrive at the designated parking area for Mzima Springs. A park entry fee is required, so ensure you have cash ready for the entrance fee.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
Head to the nearest matatu stage in Tsavo Region. Look for matatus heading towards Voi or Chyulu Hills. Inform the conductor you are going to Mzima Springs. The journey will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Ensure you also ask to be dropped off at the junction for Mzima Springs. From the junction, it’s a short walk of about 5 kilometers to the springs. Be prepared for a small fee for the matatu ride.
