Car
If you are driving to Tsavo House from any location within Tsavo Region, start by heading towards Voi town. From Voi town, take the A109 road heading southeast. Continue on the A109 for about 10 kilometers until you see signs for Tsavo House. Turn right onto a small access road just before the Tsavo East National Park entrance. Drive for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Tsavo House, which will be on your left. Please ensure to have a valid driver's license and be aware of potential road fees if entering any national park areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Tsavo House via public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared minibus) from any major town in the Tsavo Region to Voi town. Once you arrive in Voi, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) or walk to the Tsavo House. If you choose the motorcycle taxi, negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 100-200 KES. The ride will take about 10 minutes. If walking, follow the signs toward the A109 road and head southeast for about 5 kilometers. Be cautious and ensure you have a reliable map or GPS on your phone.
