Car
From Watamu town center, head south on the Malindi-Watamu Road (A177). Follow the road for approximately 10 km until you see signs for Garoda Beach. Turn left onto the access road leading to the beach. Continue for about 2 km, and you will reach Garoda Beach. There is parking available at the beach, but please note that a small fee may be required for entry.
Public Transportation
In Watamu, find a local matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Malindi. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Garoda Beach. The fare is typically around 50-100 Kenyan Shillings. Once you reach the designated stop, walk for about 2 km down the access road to Garoda Beach. Be cautious while walking as the road can be busy.
Walking
If you are staying close to the beach, you can walk from your accommodation in Watamu. Navigate towards the Malindi-Watamu Road (A177) and follow it south. Once you reach the access road for Garoda Beach, turn left and continue walking for about 2 km until you arrive at the beach entrance.
