Car
If you have a car, start from the center of Watamu and head northeast on the Mombasa-Malindi Highway (A14). After approximately 3 kilometers, turn right onto the road marked for Watamu Beach. Continue straight until you reach a T-junction, then turn left. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to Echo Beach, which will be on your right. There is usually no entry fee, but parking may cost around 100 KES.

Public Transportation
To reach Echo Beach via public transport, locate a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Malindi from the Watamu town center. Inform the driver you want to be dropped at the Watamu Beach stop. The fare is around 50 KES. Once you get off, walk along the beach road towards the north for about 15 minutes until you reach Echo Beach. Look out for signs that direct you to the beach entrance.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Watamu. Start from the town center and head northeast on the Mombasa-Malindi Highway (A14).
