Car
If you're driving from Watamu town, head southeast on the Mombasa-Malindi Road (A14). After about 3 kilometers, take the left turn onto Jacaranda Road. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Watamu Marine Park entrance. Turn right and follow the signs for the marine park. After roughly 1 kilometer, you will see a small sign for Isola Dell'Amore. Turn onto the dirt road and follow it for about 500 meters until you reach the parking area near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Isola Dell'Amore via public transportation, start by taking a matatu (shared minibus) from Watamu town to the Mombasa-Malindi Road junction. The fare is usually around 50 KES. Once you reach the junction, you can either walk to Jacaranda Road (about 1 kilometer) or take another matatu towards Malindi and ask the driver to drop you off at Jacaranda Road. From there, follow the same directions as you would if driving. Note that matatus may not run frequently, so plan your trip accordingly.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Watamu can be a fun way to reach Isola Dell'Amore. Head southeast on the Mombasa-Malindi Road (A14) for about 3 kilometers. Turn left onto Jacaranda Road and continue straight for another 2 kilometers. After that, turn right at the Watamu Marine Park entrance and follow the signs. The dirt road may be a bit bumpy, so be prepared for a short, adventurous ride!

If you're feeling energetic and are staying nearby, you could walk to Isola Dell'Amore. From Watamu town center, head southeast on the Mombasa-Malindi Road (A14). After about 3 kilometers, turn left onto Jacaranda Road. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Watamu Marine Park entrance. From there, follow the road signs to Isola Dell'Amore, which is about another kilometer down the path. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water!
