Walking
From the center of Mitrovica, head north towards the Ibar River. Cross the bridge to the northern side of the river, which will lead you into the predominantly Albanian area of the city. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight on the main road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road towards Zveçan. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers. You will pass through some residential areas and see signs for Zveçan. Keep walking straight until you reach Zveçan village. The fortress is located on a hill above the village.

Public Transport
From Mitrovica, find the bus station located near the center of town. Look for a bus heading to Zveçan. Buses typically run every hour, and the journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Zveçan, disembark at the main stop, and follow the signs indicating the direction of the fortress. It’s a short walk uphill from the bus stop to the fortress entrance.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mitrovica. Start by heading north towards the Ibar River and crossing the bridge. After crossing, follow the same route as if you were walking: continue on the main road toward Zveçan. The ride is approximately 3 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. Be prepared for some inclines as you approach the fortress.
