Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Has, head southwest on the main road (SH6) towards Gjakova. Continue on SH6 for approximately 12 km. As you approach the village of Kusar, look for the sign indicating the direction to Shpella e Kusarit (Cave of Kusar). Follow the signs to turn left onto the rural road leading into the village of Kusar. After about 2 km, you will reach the cave entrance, which is well marked. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that it may have limited space, especially during peak tourist season.

    From Has, take a bus towards Gjakova from the local bus station. Buses run approximately every hour, and the fare is around 2-3 euros. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Gjakova, transfer to a local bus heading towards Kusar. The fare for this leg is also about 1-2 euros. Get off at the stop in Kusar, and from there, it's a short walk (about 1 km) to the entrance of Shpella e Kusarit. Follow the signs directing you to the cave entrance.
