Getting There

• Car

  From Kuwait Water Towers, head southwest on Ahmad Al-Jaber Street. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers, and then take a left onto Gulf Street. Follow Gulf Street for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Green Island on your right. There is parking available near the entrance, which may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Kuwait Water Towers, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Ahmad Al-Jaber Street. Take Bus 18 or Bus 25, both of which head towards the Gulf Street area. After approximately 15-20 minutes of travel, get off at the Green Island stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Green Island. The bus fare is usually around 0.25 KWD.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service

  For a more convenient option, you can use a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Careem or Uber. Simply request a ride from Kuwait Water Towers to Green Island, located at Gulf Street, Green Island Persian, Kuwait City. The trip should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and may cost around 2-3 KWD.

• Walking (if nearby)

  If you are staying close to Kuwait Water Towers, you can also walk to Green Island. Head southwest on Ahmad Al-Jaber Street, then take a left onto Gulf Street. It is about a 5-kilometer walk that will take approximately 1 hour. Ensure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes.
