If you are driving, head towards the Ala-Archa National Park entrance from Bishkek. The entrance is about 40 km from the city. Upon entering the park, continue along the main road until you reach the Birch Grove area, which is marked by a sign. The GPS coordinates for Birch Grove are approximately 42.6264° N, 74.4974° E. Look for the 'JFGW+GXR, Unnamed Road' sign as you approach. Parking is available at the designated area, but be aware of any park entry fees that may apply.

To reach Birch Grove via public transport, take a minibus (known as 'marshrutka') from Bishkek to Ala-Archa National Park. The departure point for these minibuses is typically located at the Western Bus Station in Bishkek. The ride to the park takes about 1 hour and costs around 50-100 KGS. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk or catch a taxi to the Birch Grove area, which is approximately 5 km from the entrance. Expect to pay an additional 100-200 KGS for the taxi. Make sure to confirm the driver knows the Birch Grove location.
