Car
If you are driving to Ala-Archa National Park, take the main road from Bishkek towards the park. The entrance to the park is approximately 40 kilometers from Bishkek. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay a small entrance fee (around 100 KGS per person) to access the park. After entering, follow the road until it ends at the Ala-Archa base camp. From the base camp, you will start your hike towards Aksay Glacier.

Public Transportation
To reach Ala-Archa National Park via public transportation, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Bishkek to Ala-Archa. These minibuses leave from the Western bus station (known as 'Zapadniy Avtovokzal') and cost around 50 KGS per person. The journey takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you will pay an entrance fee of approximately 100 KGS per person. From the park entrance, you will need to hike to the Ala-Archa base camp, which is about 7 kilometers up the road.
