If you are starting from Ala-Too Square, walk towards the north along Chuy Avenue. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. The State History Museum will be on your right side, just after the intersection with Ryskulov Street. Look for the large building with a prominent entrance.

From Ala-Too Square, take bus number 265 or 226 from the bus stop located near the square. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the 'Chuy Avenue' stop. Walk back along Chuy Avenue for about 300 meters. The State History Museum will be on your left.
