Getting There

Car
If you're starting from Fergana City, head east on the A373 highway towards the town of Kokand. After about 30 kilometers, take the exit toward the M39 highway. Continue on M39, following the signs for Margilan. Once you reach Margilan, take a left to stay on M39 heading north. Continue for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the town of Karakol. From Karakol, you can either take a local taxi or continue driving to reach the base of Fergana Range, located about 10 kilometers to the southwest. Be aware that the roads may be unpaved and in rough condition as you approach the mountains.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Fergana City to Kokand, which costs around 15 som. From Kokand, catch another marshrutka heading to Margilan for about 10 som. In Margilan, transfer to a minibus heading towards Karakol, which will cost approximately 30 som. Upon reaching Karakol, you may need to negotiate with local taxi drivers to take you to the base of Fergana Range. Expect to pay around 200 som for this taxi ride. Make sure to have cash on hand, as many drivers do not accept cards.
