Car
To reach Tash Rabat by car from any point in Fergana Valley, first head towards the city of Osh. The drive takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on traffic. From Osh, take the A373 road north towards the town of Sulaiman-Too. After about 30 km, turn onto the M41 road towards Naryn. Continue on the M41 for about 130 km until you reach the village of Tashkent. From Tashkent, follow the signs for Tash Rabat, which is approximately 30 km away. Keep in mind that the roads can be rough and may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially in winter months. Make sure to fill up on fuel in Osh, as gas stations are sparse along the way.
Public Transportation
To get to Tash Rabat using public transportation, start by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from Fergana Valley to Osh. Marshrutkas leave frequently from the central bus station in Fergana. The journey to Osh takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Osh, go to the main bus station and look for a bus heading towards Naryn. This bus ride will take approximately 4-5 hours. After arriving in Naryn, you will need to hire a taxi to take you the final 30 km to Tash Rabat. Taxi fares can vary, so it’s advisable to negotiate the price beforehand, which could cost around 1000-1500 KGS (approximately $12-18 USD).
