Walking
From the center of Kochkor, start at the main square (Ala-Too Square). Head north on the main road (Ala-Too Street) towards the market. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to the village of Kochkor-Ata. You should see signs for the river along the way. Turn left at the junction and follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a small footpath leading to the river on your right. The path will take you through some scenic landscapes, and you will arrive at Kochkor River in approximately 15-20 minutes.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the central market area in Kochkor. Take the main road heading north (Ala-Too Street) for about 1 kilometer. At the junction, turn left onto the road towards Kochkor-Ata and continue for another 1.5 kilometers. Look for a small sign that indicates the footpath to Kochkor River on your right. The ride should take about 15 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful views along the way.
Horse Riding
For a more traditional experience, you can rent a horse from one of the local stables in Kochkor. Start your journey from the central square and head north along Ala-Too Street. After about 1 kilometer, turn left at the junction towards Kochkor-Ata. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers before finding the path to Kochkor River on your right. Riding to the river should take around 20-30 minutes, and you will likely encounter some beautiful landscapes and local wildlife along the way.
