Car
If you are driving, start from Naryn City and head east on the A365 road. Continue for about 80 km until you reach the town of Bash-Kaiyndy. The waterfall is approximately 5 km north of Bash-Kaiyndy. You may need to take a gravel road leading towards the mountains; be cautious as some parts may be rugged. Look for signs or local markers guiding you to Shar Waterfall. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.
Public Transportation
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from Naryn City to Bash-Kaiyndy. The journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Bash-Kaiyndy, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a ride with locals to take you to the waterfall, which is about 5 km away. Taxi fares may vary, so it's advisable to negotiate the price beforehand. Expect to pay around 100-200 KGS.
Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider hiking from Bash-Kaiyndy to Shar Waterfall. After reaching Bash-Kaiyndy by public transport, follow the trails heading north into the mountains.
