Car
From Son-Kul Lake, head southwest towards the town of Naryn. The quickest route is via the A-365 road, which will take about 2-3 hours depending on road conditions. Continue on A-365 until you reach the turnoff for the Ala Archa National Park, which should be well-marked with signs. Follow the signs to the park entrance. There may be a small entrance fee of around 100 KGS per person for access to the national park.
Public Transportation
To reach Ala Archa from Son-Kul Lake using public transportation, first, you would need to travel to Naryn via a shared taxi or minibus (marshrutka). This ride will take approximately 2-3 hours. Once in Naryn, look for a marshrutka heading to Bishkek. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Ala Archa entrance; this is a common request for travelers. After reaching the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee of about 100 KGS per person.
