Car
If you are driving from Attapeu town, head southeast on Route 18B for approximately 40 kilometers. After about 40 minutes, you will reach the junction near Ban Salavangkhang. Take a left onto the unpaved road leading to Sekaman 1 hydropower. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you see the entrance to the hydropower station. Ensure to check for any local signs marking the way.
Public Transportation
From Attapeu town, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Paksong. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the junction near Ban Salavangkhang. The ride will take around 1 hour and cost approximately 20,000 LAK. Once at the junction, you can either walk or hire a motorbike taxi (around 10,000 LAK) to reach Sekaman 1 hydropower, which is about 5 kilometers away.
Motorbike
If you prefer to rent a motorbike, you can do so in Attapeu town. Follow the same route as if you were driving a car, head southeast on Route 18B for about 40 kilometers, then turn left onto the unpaved road leading to Sekaman 1 hydropower. This option allows for more flexibility in exploring the area, but be cautious of road conditions.
