Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Attapeu town, head southeast on Route 18B for approximately 40 kilometers. After about 40 minutes, you will reach the junction near Ban Salavangkhang. Take a left onto the unpaved road leading to Sekaman 1 hydropower. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers until you see the entrance to the hydropower station. Ensure to check for any local signs marking the way.

From Attapeu town, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Paksong. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the junction near Ban Salavangkhang. The ride will take around 1 hour and cost approximately 20,000 LAK. Once at the junction, you can either walk or hire a motorbike taxi (around 10,000 LAK) to reach Sekaman 1 hydropower, which is about 5 kilometers away.
