If you are driving a car, start from the capital city of Attapeu, which is located to the north of Nong Fa Lake. Head southeast on Route 16B, following the signs for Xaysetha District. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through small villages and scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Nong Fa Lake. As you approach the lake, you will see a road leading off Route 16B; turn onto this road, and follow it for about 5 kilometers directly to the lake's entrance.

To reach Nong Fa Lake using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Attapeu to Xaysetha District. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Attapeu; check the schedule for departure times. The bus ride will take around 1 to 1.5 hours and should cost approximately 20,000 LAK ($2 USD). Once you arrive in Xaysetha, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you the remaining distance to Nong Fa Lake. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 30,000 to 50,000 LAK ($3 to $5 USD) and will take about 20 minutes.
