If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Bokeo Province and head towards the town of Pak Beng. From Pak Beng, take Route 2E towards the border with Thailand. After crossing the Mekong River, continue on Route 2E until you reach the junction with Route 1. Turn left on Route 1 and continue straight. Follow the signs for Wiang Kaen District. Kaeng Pha Dai is located in the Muang Yai area of Wiang Kaen District, Chiang Rai, Thailand. The journey will take approximately 3-4 hours depending on road conditions.

To reach Kaeng Pha Dai via public transportation, take a bus from Bokeo Province to Pak Beng. Once in Pak Beng, look for a bus or minivan heading towards the Thailand border (you may need to ask locals for the right one). After crossing the Mekong River, continue on a bus or minivan toward Wiang Kaen. Once you arrive in Wiang Kaen, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to Kaeng Pha Dai in the Muang Yai area. Be sure to check bus schedules in advance, as they can be limited.
