If you're driving from Chiang Rai, take Route 1 (Phahonyothin Road) heading north towards Chiang Khong. After approximately 90 kilometers, turn left onto Route 1129 towards Chiang Khong. Continue on Route 1129 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town. Once in Chiang Khong, look for signs to Phra That Doi Mae Ya Mon, which is situated on a hill overlooking the Mekong River. The GPS coordinates for the temple are 20.1957728, 100.4571444. Parking is available near the temple.

From Chiang Rai, you can take a bus to Chiang Khong. Buses leave from the Chiang Rai Bus Station and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours, costing around 100-150 THB. Upon arriving at Chiang Khong Bus Station, you can take a tuk-tuk or songthaew (shared taxi) directly to Phra That Doi Mae Ya Mon. The fare should be around 30-50 THB per person. Make sure to communicate your destination to the driver.
