From Phonsavan, head northeast on Route 7 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Muang Kham town. Continue on Route 7 until you see the sign for Tham Piew Cave. Turn at the sign and follow the road for another 10 kilometers. Parking is available near the cave entrance. There are no tolls, and parking is free.

Take a local bus or songthaew from Phonsavan to Muang Kham. The journey typically takes around 1 hour and costs about 15,000 to 20,000 LAK. Once in Muang Kham, you can either walk to Tham Piew Cave, which is about 2 kilometers away, or hire a tuk-tuk for a small fee (around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK) to take you directly to the cave entrance.
