Car
From the center of Pakse, head southeast on Route 13 (Lao National Route 13) towards the Bolaven Plateau. Continue on Route 13 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 16. Take a left turn onto Route 16 and follow it for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Tad Syda. The waterfall is located at coordinates 15.1805447, 105.8665424, which will lead you to the parking area near the entrance.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Start at the Pakse bus station where you can catch a local bus heading towards the Bolaven Plateau. Make sure to inform the driver you are going to Tad Syda, as they will drop you off at a nearby stop. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. After getting off, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Tad Syda.
Motorbike Rental
Rent a motorbike in Pakse and head out towards the Bolaven Plateau. Start on Route 13 and continue for about 30 kilometers. Then take a left onto Route 16 and ride for another 10 kilometers until you see signs for Tad Syda.
