Look for signs indicating Nhotkep; you will turn right onto a smaller road leading to Nhotkep. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the vicinity of Tad Keo Waterfall. You can use GPS coordinates (18.650593, 104.655947) to assist you in navigating directly to the waterfall.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Vientiane to Paksan. The bus journey typically takes around 4 hours. Once you arrive in Paksan, you will need to hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to take you to Nhotkep. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as prices may vary. The trip to Nhotkep from Paksan will take about 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Nhotkep, ask your driver to take you to Tad Keo Waterfall. Be sure to confirm the fare for the return trip with the driver.

If you find yourself in Nhotkep, you can also choose to walk to Tad Keo Waterfall. From the center of Nhotkep, head towards the road leading out of town in the direction of the waterfall. It is approximately a 3-kilometer walk, which should take around 30-40 minutes. The path is relatively straightforward, but it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially during the hotter hours of the day.
