Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Take Route 13 North towards Luang Prabang. After approximately 150 km, turn left onto Route 10 towards Phone Ngeun. Continue on Route 10 for about 30 km until you reach Phone Ngeun. Once in Phone Ngeun, follow local signs to Pha Ngern Silver Cliff View Point, which is located at coordinates 18.916434, 102.4130347. There is a small parking area near the trailhead, but be prepared for a steep hike to the viewpoint.

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Vientiane to Luang Prabang. Buses leave frequently and the journey takes about 5-6 hours. Once you arrive in Luang Prabang, find a local bus or shared taxi heading to Phone Ngeun. The ride will take approximately 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Phone Ngeun, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi to get to the Pha Ngern Silver Cliff View Point trailhead.
