Be prepared for a bumpy ride, as the road may not be fully paved. Look out for signs or local directions to the waterfall, which is popular among tourists and locals alike.

To reach Khoun Moung Keo Waterfall using public transportation, first take a bus from Vientiane to Paksan. Buses leave regularly and the journey takes about 4-5 hours. From Paksan, catch a local bus or a tuk-tuk to Ban Long. The fare for the local bus is approximately 20,000 LAK. Once in Ban Long, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi to take you to the waterfall. This final leg of the journey may cost around 50,000-100,000 LAK, depending on your negotiation skills. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to the waterfall, as not all drivers may know the exact location.
