Getting There

Bicycle
From the center of Champasak, head southwest towards the Mekong River. Follow the main road (Route 13) along the riverbank. After about 3.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which leads you away from the river. Continue for another 3 kilometers, and you will see signs for Wat Muang Kang. The temple is located at RVPG+63M, just off the main road. The ride should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

Walking
From the Champasak Palace Hotel, walk south towards the Mekong River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the road (Route 13) for about 3.5 kilometers. At the fork in the road, veer left onto the road that leads away from the river. Continue walking for another 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Wat Muang Kang. The walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can find one near the Champasak Palace Hotel or in the center of town. Communicate your destination by saying 'Wat Muang Kang' and agree on a price before departing. The driver will take you along Route 13 towards the temple. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
