Getting There

• Tuk-Tuk

  From the center of Champasak, head to the main road where tuk-tuks are commonly found. Negotiate a fare with a tuk-tuk driver to take you to Paksong District. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Tad Gneuang Waterfall (or simply say 'Tad Gneuang' for better understanding).

• Motorbike Taxi

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can hire a motorbike taxi (known as 'mototaxi') from the main street in Champasak. Approach a mototaxi driver and inform them of your destination: Tad Gneuang Waterfall. This option is quicker and gives you a scenic view along the way. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes.

• Bicycle Rental

  For those who enjoy cycling, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Champasak. Follow Road 23 towards Paksong District. The distance is about 25 kilometers, so plan for a 2-3 hour ride. Be sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed. Upon reaching Paksong, look for signs directing you to Tad Gneuang Waterfall, which is located just off the main road.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely hike to Tad Gneuang Waterfall. Start from Champasak and head north towards Paksong District. This will take a considerable amount of time (approximately 5-6 hours), so be prepared with water and snacks. Follow the main road and ask locals for directions if needed. Once you reach the main entrance to the waterfall, follow the signs leading to the waterfall itself.
