The cost should be negotiated in advance, and a typical fare is between 30,000 to 50,000 LAK. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the base of the hill, from where you'll ascend the steps to the temple.

Motorbike
Motorbikes can be rented in Pakse for approximately 50,000 to 80,000 LAK per day. Ride across the Lao-Nippon Bridge over the Mekong River. After crossing the bridge, take the first left, and follow the road. The temple is located on a hill, and there is a set of steps going up to Wat Phousalao from the first road after the bridge on the left-hand side. Secure your motorbike at the base before climbing the stairs to the temple.
